The policy's own definition of an adjustment
Section 4.1 of the Parcel Submission and Rehearsal Service Policy page, updated 21 April 2026, is the clause this page turns on. It terminates the current rehearsal service if the user "cancels the parcel after the parcel rehearsal has been completed, or makes any adjustment to the related order". The policy then supplies its own examples of an adjustment, and the wording is wider than most readers assume. Verified against the page on 12 October 2026.
Three actions named outright
The clause lists "returns, replacing items, or changing item quantities" as adjustments. None of these is a cancellation. Sending one item back, swapping a size, or dropping a quantity from three to two all sit inside the definition. A buyer who thinks of a swap as a small edit is, in the policy's terms, making the same move as a return.
The open end of the list
The three examples arrive after the phrase "including but not limited to". That wording makes the list illustrative, not exhaustive. Any change to the related order can qualify, whether or not it resembles a return or a quantity edit. Reading the named items as the full set is the mistake; the clause covers the category, not just the examples.
A terminated rehearsal and a kept fee
Once an adjustment lands after a completed rehearsal, the policy states the CNY 20 fee "will not be refunded or waived" and "the current rehearsal result may become invalid". A fresh estimate needs a new request and the fee paid again. The page gives its own advice: "users are advised to avoid adjusting the order after applying for rehearsal".
The price of the same swap at each stage
The move is identical every time: one item out, another in, or a quantity changed. The bill depends on when the warehouse hears about it. The table follows one swap through four stages, using the Parcel Submission and Rehearsal Service Policy page, updated 21 April 2026, as its source. Verified against the page on 12 October 2026.
Note where the line sits. The fee does not begin at submission; it begins the moment a rehearsal has been completed, because by then the warehouse has already packed, measured and quoted once.
| Stage | What happens to the order | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| Browsing the catalogue | Nothing is committed; a swap is picking a different product card | Nothing |
| Order open, warehouse untouched | The order is edited before any rehearsal or submission; a specification difference can trigger a repricing | Confirm with support; the quoted figure can change |
| After a completed rehearsal | The current rehearsal service is terminated and its result may become invalid | CNY 20 is not refunded or waived; a fresh rehearsal costs CNY 20 again |
| After submission and actual packing | Cancellation becomes a manual job once the warehouse has completed actual packing and quotation | A manual handling fee of CNY 20, non-refundable; remaining eligible paid fees are refunded under platform rules |
The knock-on costs of a swap
CNY 20 is only the visible cost. Three quieter mechanisms sit behind it: the route filter on the Shipping Restrictions page, updated 14 April 2026; the storage meter on the Storage page, updated 21 April 2026; and the repricing rules on the Order and Package Additional Payment page, updated 14 April 2026. - ROUTES
A new item re-filters the routes
Available routes are filtered from the restriction tags of everything in the parcel. Swap a hoodie for a watch and the tag set changes; watches sit on the restricted list alongside batteries, liquids, eyewear and magnetic items. A route open to the old contents may close to the new ones.
- STORAGE
The storage meter does not pause
The 90 free days run from the moment status becomes Warehoused, item by item, and they keep running while a replacement travels. After day 90 the rate is RMB 0.1 per kg per day, with a minimum of RMB 0.1 per item per day; at 180 days silence is treated as abandonment.
- REPRICING
A specification difference reprices the order
Specification differences are a named cause of repricing, next to the seller's actual quotation, logistics fee adjustments and weight calculation. A swapped item that differs from what was paid for produces an additional payment or a refund, and the final amount "is subject to buyer verification, system calculation, or the platform's final confirmation".
- THE HOLD
An unpaid difference freezes the parcel
An unpaid difference stops the pipeline. Before the additional payment is completed, "the order cannot proceed to purchasing" and "the parcel cannot continue to submission or shipment". Notification goes by email and internal site messages only; a forgotten swap holds a parcel while the storage meter counts.
Where the money goes on a single order, in order
The money on one order leaves in a fixed sequence, and a swap can only move the lines that are still live when it happens. The Parcel and Billing Rules page, updated 14 April 2026, states that the weight and freight quoted at submission are an estimate and a prepayment; the cost breakdown below follows that sequence and marks what a later change can still move. - Goods price
At order placement Yes; the seller's actual quotation and specification differences are named causes of an additional payment or refund
- Domestic shipping fee
At order placement, with the goods Yes; one of the four figures the additional payment page says can differ from what was paid
- Rehearsal service fee, CNY 20
At the rehearsal request This is the line a swap burns; any adjustment after a completed rehearsal means it "will not be refunded or waived"
- Estimated international shipping fee
At formal submission, before actual packing Yes; the final figure follows the actual measurement, "refund for any excess and payment for any shortfall"
- Add-on service fees
When the add-on is ordered; billed separately per the FAQ Indirectly; photographs and measurements describe the old item, not its replacement
- Storage fee after the 90 free days
From day 91 after status becomes Warehoused Yes; waiting for a replacement keeps the meter at RMB 0.1 per kg per day, minimum RMB 0.1 per item per day
- Manual handling fee, CNY 20
At cancellation after actual packing and quotation This line only exists because of a change; it is non-refundable, and the remaining eligible paid fees are refunded under platform rules
